This is a stunning Geoffrey Beene evening gown from his Fall 1989 collection. It has a high waist, black and green striped iridescent pleated taffeta skirt with lace trim on the hem, and a black knit low scoop neck bodice.

The dress has a slight high low hem, long sleeves with hook-and-eye closures and black metal zippers. This beautiful dress closes with a black metal zipper and a hook-and-eye closure down the center back seam.

We obtained this important dress from the Geoffrey Beene Archive, along with a few other dresses in our inventory.
